Warranty Litigation Counsel

Warranty Litigation Counsel Duration: 12 months with possible extension Location: Atlanta GA 30354 JOB SUMMARY Position Overview: Manage national warranty litigation. Serve as corporate representative in a variety of legal matters, including trials, mediations, arbitration hearings and depositions. Research, analyze, and evaluate evidence for lawsuits, manage warranty counsel throughout the United States, and negotiate settlements. Roles & responsibilities Manage large portfolio of warranty litigation, including working with outside counsel through the length of the case, aiding in reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, helping develop effective defense strategies, and negotiating with opposing counsel. Ability to aggregate cost data to create cost effective strategies for litigation management. Collaborate with dealerships to complete final repair attempts, obtain necessary information and documentation to evaluate and resolve breach of warranty matters Represent in litigation: in court, mediation, depositions and trials throughout the United States Qualifications Education: JD from an accredited law school, Barred in at least one state 5+ of litigation experience, preferably in warranty matters Skills: Substantive legal knowledge and understanding of warranty and lemon laws Ability to handle case from start to finish, including managing strategy Proficient in legal research Self-starter and a team player Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
