Litigation Practice Assistant
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid - 4 days onsite after 90 days)
Salary: $64,000 - $110,000 DOE
Schedule: Full-time
A highly regarded, full-service law firm is seeking a Litigation Practice Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This is a hybrid legal assistant/paralegal role ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both administrative and substantive litigation support.

Key Responsibilities
Draft, proofread, and format pleadings and legal documents
Manage e-filing in California state and federal courts
Maintain attorney calendars and track deadlines
Coordinate meetings (in-person and virtual) and logistics
Assist with trial prep, filings, and case organization
Open new client/matter files and support intake processes
Handle expense reports, travel arrangements, and time entry
Organize and maintain files in document management systems (NetDocuments preferred)
Redline/compare documents and manage revisions
Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys
Required Qualifications
5+ years of litigation legal assistant/secretary experience
Paralegal certificate or attestation required
Strong experience with CA state and federal e-filing
Experience supporting litigation teams and multiple attorneys
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook required)
Preferred Experience
Complex litigation and trial preparation experience
Experience with NetDocuments or similar document management systems
Familiarity with time entry and expense reporting systems (e.g., Intapp)
Advanced Excel or PowerPoint skills a plus

Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite after first 90 days
