Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a Paralegal role in Thomasville, GA. In this position, you will be working for an esteemed insurance organization to support the company’s legal, compliance, and regulatory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working within highly regulated industries and possess strong knowledge of compliance requirements. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively across departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Support compliance with state insurance regulations, including Department of Insurance (DOI) filings, licensing, and renewals.
- Assist with regulatory audits, examinations, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including agent agreements, vendor contracts, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Maintain corporate records, governance documentation, and compliance calendars.
- Coordinate with internal and external counsel regarding claims, complaints, and litigation matters.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Human Resources, Operations, and Leadership teams.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely completion of compliance-related activities.
- Paralegal Certificate or Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably within life insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
