Litigation Associate - Media & Intellectual Property Law

Growing and well established law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters involving media law and intellectual property disputes , including defamation, copyright, and trademark litigation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build or deepen a niche in media and IP litigation within a collaborative, growth-oriented firm.

• Support and manage litigation matters involving:
  • Defamation and media-related disputes
  • Copyright and trademark issues
• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality:
  • Motions
  • Briefs
  • Memoranda
• Assist with case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex litigation matters

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Top 25% academic credentials required
• 34+ years of litigation experience
• Experience in media law or intellectual property litigation
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage assignments with increasing independence
• Louisiana license in good standing
