A respected and growing law firm in New Jersey is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on organization, client communication, and litigation support while contributing to the success of a collaborative legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
• Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and electronic case files
• Coordinate communications with clients, courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and documents
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, filings, and scheduling
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates
• File legal documents electronically and maintain accurate records
• Support day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and professionalism

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Legal Assistant or Litigation Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of legal office procedures and litigation processes
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
• Bachelors Degree preferred
