We are seeking a motivated and skilled Complex Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Oakland, CA. This hybrid role offers flexibility while providing the opportunity to work on challenging and high-stakes matters across a variety of complex litigation areas, including business disputes, toxic torts, employment matters, real estate litigation, and insurance defense.

As part of our team, you will receive meaningful, hands-on experience from day one. You won’t be siloed or stuck doing document review—our attorneys are trusted with real responsibility and play a central role in litigation strategy and execution. You’ll work on matters from intake through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and, where applicable, trial preparation, trial experience.

• Manage a diverse caseload from initial investigation through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and client communication

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence

• Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and hearings

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on litigation strategy

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and procedural rules

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to multiple relevant practice areas

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Trial experience is a plus but not required

• Work with a respected team of litigators on complex, high-value cases
