What You'll Do: Interview inventors and prepare technically sound, strategic patent applications Handle all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution , including ex parte appeals Conduct validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate studies , with supporting opinion letters Provide legal guidance on patent, trademark, copyright , and basic licensing issues Gain experience in IP licensing and litigation Work closely with partners, associates, and staff to ensure seamless case management Stay ahead of IP trends and contribute to our thought leadership What We're Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on patent prosecution experience JD from an accredited law school Technical degree (BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar preferred) Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills Deep understanding of IP law bonus if you bring litigation experience too Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
