We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide high-level support to a Founding Partner based in our White Plains office. This is a critical hybrid role that combines advanced legal assistant responsibilities with executive assistant duties. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a wide range of tasks with discretion and precision.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Founding Partner, including managing a complex calendar, scheduling meetings and court appearances, and prioritizing tasks.Draft, review, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and client communications.Coordinate and manage complex international and domestic travel arrangements (flights, hotels, itineraries, and expense reports).Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring compliance with firm standards and deadlines.Assist with client intake, communications, and relationship management.Prepare and submit billing entries, time reports, and expense reimbursements.Conduct basic legal research and assist with document production as needed.Handle executive-level administrative tasks, including personal scheduling, correspondence, and special projects.Act as a liaison between the Partner and attorneys, clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams.Anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities, and proactively solve problems to ensure smooth daily operations.QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Executive Legal Assistant, or similar role supporting a senior attorney or executive (experience in insurance/reinsurance or litigation preferred).Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.Superior written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor and discretion.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while functioning as part of a collaborative team.Experience coordinating complex international travel is strongly preferred.Familiarity with legal software (e.g., case management systems) and court e-filing procedures is a plus.Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred but not required.BenefitsUnlimited PTOHealthDentalVisionHybrid Schedule
