Responsibilities Independently manage a full litigation caseload from pre-litigation through resolution with minimal supervision Develop and execute effective case strategies aligned with client objectives Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement demands, and trial-related materials Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit management, motions in limine, jury instructions, and verdict forms Serve as first or second chair at trial, as appropriate Maintain consistent client communication, providing strategic guidance and case updates Collaborate with paralegals and support staff while contributing to overall firm growth and success Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience Proven ability to independently manage cases with minimal oversight Hands-on experience with depositions, motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and court appearances Trial experience is a plus, but not required Strong legal writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills Excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, and case management capabilities Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance-based and case closure bonuses Origination bonus opportunities Comprehensive health benefits Retirement plan Unlimited paid time off Flexible and remote work options Ongoing mentorship, trial training, and leadership development opportunities
