Manpower is hiring an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy and dynamic defense litigation team in Charleston, West Virginia. Whats the Job?

• Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys
• Prepare, draft, and format legal documents and correspondence using Microsoft Word
• Open and close client matters and maintain case files and related indexes
• File and e-file pleadings and other documents with state and federal courts
• Assist with e-discovery processes
• Support attorneys with preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and track critical deadlines
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, copying, and document organization
• Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients and court personnel

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a litigation practice (preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and general computer applications
• Experience with court filing and e-filing systems
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to handle a high-volume workload in a defense litigation environment
• Ability to pass all required background checks, including criminal
