Family Law Paralegal

We are a respected and client-focused family law firm, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our Hackensack office. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting clients through sensitive legal matters, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities-Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, and post-judgment issues-Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, CIS forms, discovery demands, settlement agreements, and correspondence-Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines-Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth case progression-Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and hearing materials-Support attorneys with case management and client communication-Conduct basic legal research as neededQualifications-3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law-Strong understanding of New Jersey family court rules and procedures-Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment-Compassionate, professional, and client-service oriented-Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferredWhat We Offer-Competitive compensation based on experience-Comprehensive benefits package-Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth-Meaningful work serving individuals and families navigating major life transitions
