Criminal Defense Attorney

Full time associate attorney to practice primarily in criminal defense, however, about 15% of case load will be civil litigation. All criminal and civil work to be supervised and assisted by senior attorney. So no prior experience in civil litigation required. Prior experience in criminal defense is preferred.

Position is multi-county - so travel outside of Allegheny County required and attorney is paid a per diem for such travel and parking costs covered by firm. Travel within Allghenyt

Much of the work will be at court. This is an intense and fun position. However, office time is mandatory if there are no morning or afternoon hearings on the schedule. Client intake calls and consultations are part of the job. Preliminary hearings, motions and trials will be a frequent part of the job.

The firm's client base has been rapidly growing. Thus, fairly quick raises in pay and benefits are predicted. Office space is provided. Laptop and cell phone also provided. Health insurance benefits provided. Bonuses during the holiday season.

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
