Provides legal research and information upon matters pending in the Department of Law;
Prepares affidavits, briefs and other legal documents as needed;
Assists in all legal matters such as hearings, trials, suits, injunctions, etc, as may be required;
Performs legal tasks assigned by an attorney-at-law;
Studies legal texts;
Assists legal counsel in all matters;
Performs related duties as required;

Thorough knowledge of legal principles;
Ability to perform legal research;
Ability to apply principles, facts and precedents to legal problems;

Physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position.
(A) Graduate of a recognized Law school;
OR
(B) Candidate must be a registered student in a Law school of recognized standing.
