Litigation Attorney - Property & Casualty Location: North Carolina (Remote/Hybrid options available) Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney licensed to practice law in North Carolina with 3+ years of experience in property and casualty litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff homeowner cases against insurance companies and/or plaintiff personal injury cases . This role requires a proactive legal professional who is comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in property and casualty litigation, including homeowner insurance disputes and personal injury claims. Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Attend and lead settlement conferences and mediations. Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials as needed. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents. Evaluate case value and negotiate settlements. Maintain client communication and manage expectations throughout the litigation process. Qualifications: Active license to practice law in North Carolina . Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in property and casualty cases. Proven track record in plaintiff-side litigation, especially against insurance companies. Strong litigation and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases. Compensation: Competitive base salary based on experience, starts at 100K base. Monthly performance bonuses based on settlement amounts. Benefits package available.
