Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Legal Receptionist on behalf of our client, a boutique civil litigation firm. This contract opportunity is based on-site in Sacramento, CA.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings for attorneys
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and legal documents
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Perform data entry, file management, and other administrative tasks as assigned
Prepare and maintain client files (physical and electronic)
Communicate with court personnel, clients, and vendors as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Assist with billing support, document preparation, or case-related follow-ups when requested
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Compensation:
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $26-$28, a monthly technology stipend, medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week. An employee retirement plan is also available.
