Associate Attorney leading to Partnership

Seeking motivated and responsible associate attorney to join my law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of legal areas. Direct mentorship and training will be provided. Ideal candidte is eager to learn, able to manage a diverse caseload under supervision, and interested in a long-term career in private practice. The desired goal for the right candidate would be for that attorney to take over and assume the practice.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in all phases of litigation; draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings and wills; attend court appearance, conduct closings and client meetings; performk legal research and prepare memoranda; communicate with clients, opposing counsel and courts; and support general practice operations as needed.

Qualifications - JD from an accredited law school; admission to the New York State Bar (or pending admission); strong legal research, writing and communication skills; professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
