Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bankruptcy law, strong litigation skills, and a deep understanding of financial restructuring. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and aligns with EOS principles of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Assess clients' financial situations and provide strategic legal advice on bankruptcy options.
  • Case Management: Handle bankruptcy filings, including Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 cases.
  • Court Representation: Advocate for clients in bankruptcy court proceedings, creditor meetings, and negotiations.
  • Legal Documentation: Draft and file petitions, motions, objections, and other necessary legal documents.
  • Negotiation: Work with creditors to restructure debt and develop feasible repayment plans.
  • Compliance & Research: Stay updated on bankruptcy laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
  • EOS Integration: Operate within the EOS framework, participating in Level 10 Meetings, quarterly planning, and goal-setting initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, financial advisors, and other attorneys to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Attend hearings I the divisional bankruptcy course for districts of TN, MS, and AR.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state bankruptcy regulations. 
  • One to five years of experience, at least one year of which should be in bankruptcy matters, either debtor or creditor side. 
  • Excellent litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a structured EOS environment, demonstrating accountability and leadership. 
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Commitment to client advocacy and ethical legal practices. 
  • TN law license is required. AR and MS licenses are pluses
