Litigation Technology & Training Coordinator

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Technology & Training Coordinator to lead the administration, optimization, and training of our legal practice management systems. This role will focus heavily on the ongoing development and support of Litify (our case management platform built on Salesforce), SurePoint LMS (our time and billing system), and firmwide tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and Google Mail.

The successful candidate will also serve as a strategic advisor to firm leadership in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI) tools relevant to the legal industry. This position combines systems expertise, training leadership, and a forward-thinking approach to improving operational efficiency through smarter software use.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Litify (Salesforce-Based Platform) Administration

  • Create and maintain templates, workflows, macros, dashboards, and automated processes.

  • Customize Litify to improve practice efficiency and user experience across all offices.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Litify-related updates, issues, and vendor coordination.

  • Conduct in-house training sessions and develop training resources for attorneys and staff.

  • Lead Litify onboarding for all new hires.

2. SurePoint LMS (Time & Billing System)

  • Learn and manage the system to support time entry, billing, reporting, and efficiency improvements.

  • Provide system training to attorneys and staff and serve as a troubleshooting resource.

3. Office Productivity & Communication Tools

  • Provide expert support and training for Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365 cloud tools, and Outlook.

  • Manage and support firmwide use of Google Mail systems.

  • Streamline the integration of email, case management, and billing tools for optimal workflows.

4. Technology Training & Documentation

  • Deliver engaging one-on-one and group training sessions across experience levels.

  • Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly guides, FAQs, and help resources.

  • Foster a positive, patient, and encouraging environment for technology adoption and learning.

5. AI & Emerging Technology Integration

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to firm leadership on legal technology trends and innovations.

  • Guide the firm toward responsible and effective integration of emerging technologies, with an emphasis on AI tools for legal research, document review, and workflow automation.

  • Lead efforts in researching, pilot testing, and evaluating new legal tech and AI solutions.

  • Stay informed about regulatory, ethical, and cybersecurity considerations related to legal tech and AI.

  • Recommend practical applications of AI and automation to improve client service and firm efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Demonstrated experience with Litify or Salesforce platforms.

  • Preferred: Prior experience in a law firm or legal services environment.

  • Familiarity with SurePoint LMS or similar time and billing platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Google Mail, and Outlook.

  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and systems improvement skills.

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in AI integration within the legal field.

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient approach to user support and training.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

  • Enthusiasm for evaluating new technologies and driving change through smarter software use.

Location & Schedule:

This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC, with periodic travel to other offices as needed. Hybrid work flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
