Tasks: Answer telephones Assist new client intake Draft documents for bankruptcy, probate, guardianship, and estate planning Prepare files for court dates Email, phone, fax, and mail correspondence with clients Schedule appointments and maintain Attorney's calendar File bankruptcy documents online Search and obtain information from previously filed cases using online databases and other methods Send client surveys and advertising newsletters Use legal software such as LawWare, BestCase Bankruptcy, and Legal Billing for data entry, creating documents, and billing clients Assist Attorney and Legal Interns as needed (Please don't try to fake the computer skills, it will not be a happy place for you to work if you do not know MS Word particularly well) I require: computer knowledge, good grammar, good spelling, typing by touch, ability to draft letters that are representative of a professional office, ability to see what needs to be done and the initiative to do it, well organized, kind and patient with clients and staff, clean, not easily offended, not stressed over change, quiet, can work in busy and somewhat noisy environment, learns quickly, reliable transportation, timely, reliable, pleasant telephone voice, quiet and calm character, respectful to everyone, and probably more.
