Job Title: Calling all Doctors, Lawyers, Business Owners, etc
Company: Location: Little Rock, AR
Description:
Hi there! Thanks for dropping in to check out my ad! I'm a young filmmaker from Arkansas with a proposition for you all!
Have you heard of a man by the name of Sam Raimi? Probably not? You've probably heard of his movies.. Spider-Man 1, 2, and 3? I thought so! Well, before he made the multi-million dollar Spider-Man films, he made a little film by the name of EVIL DEAD! Now, Evil Dead was Mr. Raimi's first movie.. ever. He made it for $300,000 in the 80's by raising money from local doctors, lawyers, and business owners in his home state of Michigan by showing them a short film he made.. and I'm looking to do the same!
I've got a film that I'm looking to make for around $300,000 that is based off of a short film that I made while in Hollywood attending film school! Ironic, huh? Film school was a great tool to teach young filmmakers, like myself, how to make movies.. but they don't tell you one major thing: you need MONEY to make movies! In film school, all the crew and equipment is in the tuition.. well-- that's what costs money in the real world! So I'm looking to raise the financing for my movie and shoot it entirely in my home state of ARKANSAS! If you're not familiar with how movies are made, or the process behind it-- don't be afraid! Feel free to ask questions and I'll be glad to answer them!
I plan to make a really fun movie that has a high possibility of returning your investment, plus some! I have great connections in Hollywood to help supply great talent in the film to help make it more appealing to Hollywood studios to purchase! Not only that, I'm a passionate filmmaker that wants nothing more than to succeed at achieving my dream, but everyone needs a hand, right? Think what might have happened had Mr. Raimi not gotten the financing to make EVIL DEAD??
So, if you're interested in helping a young Arkansas filmmaker achieve a dream, while investing in a great opportunity for a lot of fun, experience, and possibly a good chunk of money, please-- feel free to e-mail me! Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon!
