International health products manufacturer located in the central shore area of New Jersey seeks a talented corporate/commercial generalist for a full-time Senior Counsel position to report to the General Counsel in their growing Law Department.
Reporting to the General Counsel, the Senior Counsel will support the needs of the business in delivering timely, cost-effective, and value-adding legal services to management and employees. Essential job functions will include but not be limited to:
Providing advice to executives and managers on a wide-variety of business issues.
General corporate and commercial work including M&A projects, drafting and negotiating technology, license, supply, purchase, distribution, consulting, lease, confidentiality and other agreements.
HR-related work assisting with labor and employment/benefits matters.
Litigation management and reporting.
Oversight/administration of corporation's global compliance program.
Service legal-entity structure by providing Corporate Secretary services such as managing minutes of executive meetings, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Juris Doctor (or equivalent law degree); licensed to practice law in NJ, or qualify for limited in-house counsel license
Experience:
7+ years corporate/commercial experience, preferably including some international experience.
Working knowledge of corporate compliance programs
Familiarity with FDA medical device regulations and other highly regulated business activities is a plus.
Litigation, IP, employee benefits experience will be a plus.

Position Summary: Serve as legal counsel to Travel Channel Media (TCM), with a primary focus on the negotiation and drafting of the business and legal terms of a variety of TCM's agreements, and advice and counsel to TCM's various business units.
